Julia and others with positive feedback, good for you! Thank you for posting. Someone anonymous said they didn't know when Kim Caldwell was on Idol... if you watched as far back as Season 2, she was one of the top. Kim Locke, Clay and Ruben were in the same season.
Don't think I'm a b--- cause really, I have to say that it takes guts for ANYONE to get in front of thousands, or even millions and do what those people did every week and leave their personal issues at the door. So I feel they all deserve equal praise....but David Cook just has a little something extra and Kim is just lucky enough to spend time to find out more about him. There may and may not be others...who cares as long as he keeps being David and makes music!!!

Personally, I think of Barbie when I see any of these girls who look flawless...even my favorite country girl, Carrie Underwood... she always looks perfect no matter what she's wearing...with her, not a bad thing!! I have watched american idol for many seasons now but I didn't see it when she was in it. I don't have an opinion one her but to me if DAvid is happier with her at the moment who cares. Maybe he found some one that understands this now. Someone he can talk to. Let him live his life. everyone should not judge him on who he dates. He doesn't know. About a year ago he could do whatever he wanted because no watched his every move. Hes just another guy. Let him be happy. Its his time to say whether shes good for him or not. LET him be. He can date whoever he wants>!

ok so the only thing really is that i agree. i also agree that in his head he is thinking " great i have not been dating in 8 months . this girl is pretty why not go for it .." in kimberlys head she is thinking " great abother idol i can use his fame to get farther." i mean honestly when was the last time any one heard from her??... i agree though i hope it doesnt reflect on to his music

I agree David Cook should of waited for a while,or just dont talk about it on Tv. Try to keep his personal life secret the best that he can. I think he did hurt alot of young girls feelings.He shouldnt of did that so soon.I wonder why didnt someone tell him not to do that now. If can hurt his fans ,and loose them.I think he didnt know he was doing this.You now how guys are ,not much common sense.I really hope his fans will get over this. It is wrong to treat him like this. He is really a talented and good guy.Im sure he regrets it now,after all this got blown way out.

Most of David Cook fans like him for his music first ,personality ,looks,and he is a very nice person. Who cares who he wants to date. To judge him for that is so wrong,and stupid. Give him a break.He has been so wrapped up in American Idol.He met her threw the show ,and she did always talk nice about him. I can see why he asked her out. To me I never was a fan of hers. But I think she seems nice enough,and pretty too.I think he will be dating many women .Is everyone going to get mad everytime he goes out on a date? just plain crazy to me.

they do NOT make a cute couple for NOW because david cook is too hot at the moment and by dating blondie right now is more like a scandal & a terrible disappointment for his girly fans. he should've taken advantage first of his recent victory and fame by dating SOMEONE or rather by at least staying single. because what he did was spoil things out for him. DC is out of reach for blondie right now because he just won, but wait after a couple of months or so until he's not in the spotlight -- cause nobody will even care who he's dating with. i just pity blondie because people are verbally harassing her. cmon! it's not her fault someone like DAVID COOK finds her attractive! but i say it's her price to pay for dating an IT. she better get used to it.

I saw the American Idol tour Season 2. After the show, Kimberly was the only one that came over to graciously take pictures with us fans. She was taking time for her fans, even though the tour managers were giving her a hard time about it, trying to get her on the bus. That makes her a pretty cool chick in my book. Since I can't have David Cook for myself, I'm glad he's with a sweet girl like Kimberly!

He's extremely talented, very good looking and well-spoken, and will go far. He doesn't have a lot of experience dealing with reporters nosing into his personal life, but he'll learn quickly not to talk about it.

I listened to some of her AI numbers, she can surely sing, but seems a little ditzy and cupcake pretty, nothing really deep or special. Let him have his fun. The guy has to be in dire need of some female companionship at this point, if you know what I mean. I see him ultimately ending up with a much smarter, less flamboyant girl. I mean most 25 year old guys are hot for the flashy blond bikini babe, and he has the opportunity to go for it, so who can blame him.

As far as the Larry King criticism, he is by far the most well spoken of the group, and he is the AI winner, so of course he would be answering more questions. And of course he has a sizable ego, most good-looking musicians do. Michael Johns was hilariously funny, btw, I wish he would have lasted longer on AI. Adorable, funny and smart too.

Anyway, good luck to DC. I think he has a lot of talent and he has worked hard. I have enjoyed his music on AI and look forward to his album.
