I like David Hyde Pierce very much.......that's all that matters!

I am not gay, and my personal opinions are widely disregarded in the gay community. However, I try to give
credit where it is due. That said, DHP is a BRILLIANT
actor. The calibre of his performances are astounding. His
Tonys are well deserved, as well as the few he
didn't manage to snag.

I never thought otherwise. To me, there was never any doublt that Mr. Pierce was gay. So what? He is unbelievably talented. Charismatic and totally hilarious when portraying Niles Crane. Who cares what his sexual orientation is? It's not like I would ever get the chance to sleep with him. But, as sexy as he is, I did have a fantasy or two.

To Anoymous; I have seen Curtians and my brother and I grew up in Saratoga Springs and my brother went to highschool with David. Let me tell you a gay man does not kiss with toung and guess David kissed me with toung for 10 minutes straight infront of his so called life partner. At the end of the kiss he said "God Your Beautiful, call me".

David Hyde Pierce has the singular most accurate comic timing and best ever physical comedy. His being gay only confirms my suspicions that he is one of the finest and most underrated actors of our time, as he had fantastic chemistry with Jane Leeves that maintained a will-they-won't-they story arc for 7 seasons (bear in mind the Ross and Rachel arc folded after 2). I proudly despise anyone who is homophobic and therefore, his sexual status is of little consequence to me, especially as I will likely never meet him. I just wanted to use the opportunity to laud one of my favourite actors.

I love you no matter who or what you are. To me you will always be the most handsome man on the planet and the most talented actor ever.

For David Hyde Pierce's # 1 fan, I must say thats not true. And it is not a fact. I have nothing against David Hyde Pierce being gay, he is so talented and it is irrelevant. Although you do not need to know this, My step Uncle is in the show 'Curtains,' which David Hyde Pierce is starring in. My step uncle's name is Michael X Martin if you don't believe me, anyways David Hyde Pierce does have a partner, and his name is Brian Hargrove. My step uncle has seen him, and in David Hyde Pierc's bio from the playbill, the last line is "this is for Brian". So you are wrong, and you don't know it for a fact.

I know for a fact that David Hyde Pierce was corosed into "outing" himself. I also know for a fact that David Hyde Pierce is straight and is currently dating a women and plans to marry her.

And so, another riveting coming of age...er...coming out story.

*sigh*

Is there nothing else in the world on which to focus? I really could give less than two drops of monkey ball sweat that David Hyde Pierce is gay. Does being gay make one a better actor? Worse actor? Probably not. Perhaps I need to go back and watch every single episode of Frazier to see if I will still laugh my bleep off like I did before hearing this "news" to see.

My guess is that it won't change a thing.

who cares if he's gay? he's a great actor! besides that, it's been unspoken knowledge for years. I just cannot figure out why it is so important for people to have to declare which way they swing. it doesn't change WHO they are, and when it gets right down to it, how does their preference in the bedroom affect our lives on a personal level?
