David Letterman to Return January 2

 Jeffrey R. Staab/CBS David Letterman’s Top 10 lists are back. The longtime talk show host has reached a deal with the union representing the striking writers. His CBS chatfest will return January 2 with a full staff. “I am grateful to the WGA for granting us this agreement. We’re happy to be going back to work, and particularly pleased to be doing it with our writers,” Letterman said in a statement Friday. “This is not a solution to the strike, which unfortunately continues to disrupt the lives of thousands. But I hope it will be seen as a step in the right direction.” Jeff Hermanson, a Writers Guild of America executive, told Reuters Friday that the guild and Letterman’s production company, Worldwide Pants, had reached a “full, binding, independent agreement” that will pay scribes for their work that appears on the Internet. You are wrong, Jay Leno has many level of seats, not Letterman. I am not sure if you are blind or don't tell the truth. There was no multi-level, just a small studio. I watched the entire show and only showed 2 sections, and each has about 8 rows with 5 or 6 people. Also you should write your own jokes, you're just like your master, don't copy others. Now "YOU" go do the math and STOP bothering me!

Often you saw on the television, Letterman only has two sections. Each section is from 8 or 10 rows, from the first row to the wall which has the fire extinguisher - and THEY ARE IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES, even a two-year old can count. Now you do the math.

Poor David Letterman !!!!!!!!!! This man CAN'T do his job WITHOUT READING the Q-cards. In fact, Letterman should fire his writers because his jokes are not funny and not connected w/ anything that make sense. Actually, they are just PLAIN STUPID.

YAY DAVE!!! if there was one talk show host that could've done his show without the benefit of writers, it would've been Dave - he has an effortless acerbic, rapier-sharp wit. But he wanted to show his support for the writers, and has maintained this stance with this agreement. Leno is NOT funny, but it will be funny to see him TRYING to be funny without his writers.
