ABS by Allen Schwartz has already shamelessly knocked off the Oscar gowns worn by Keira Knightley, J.Lo, Uma Thurman, and Salma Hayek (what, no Reese?). Thankfully they’re ready in time for the awkward picture-taking and inevitable dance floor groping that prom season always brings. Pass the grain alcohol punch and see photos below:

we all want a litle bit of the glam on a oscar night. and a beautifull gown will do that for 17 year old for her prom. but they are expensive this guy is making it posible for a girl whitout the bank acount or the conneccions of the stars to look like one. but in the other hand for a grown woman do they realy whant to wear a dress that is clearly a knock off. but then again is not just about every thing a knock off even the dresses in the real red carpet are "inspired" on the designes of yesteryear, so if you like them and if you feel wonderfull on them, it is ok to spend $300.00 or $30.000.00 it all comes down to what makes the user/spender happy

Allen Schwartz is a clothing designer and has been doing this knockoff thing for over 10 yrs designing more than 20 yrs. He started because women were always coming to him wanting replicas of stars red carpet gowns. He was on Oprah a few years back maybe two. He and his crew start sketching and making these replicas as the brodcast are on. Everyone in Hollywood including the designers know that he does this. I say good fosr him there nice dud

What irks me about IMDB is that most fotos there are from Oscar ceremonies with these extraordinarily horrible rags, disgusting. It makes me loose almost all respect I got for these actresses. Shame on you, Keira, Uma, Salma, Jennifer and all the others for showing such a terrible lack of taste!

It's just junk so Allen can make replicas of them how much he want's because they're nor worth a buck in the real fashion world. Apparently the designers, (Chanel, Versace etc) don't care or they would be doing something about this guy cuz he does this every year for at least the past 3 or 4 years. I wore a replica of the dress Gwen Paltrow wore to the Oscars about 6 years ago, the Pink one I think made by Ralph Lauren. Mine wasn't pink though it was like pinky orange.
