Christie Brinkley's ex husband Peter Cook and his former assistant detailed their affair under oath on the first day the salacious divorce trial.

Called to the stand by Brinkley's lawyers, Cook, 49, recalled how he frequently had sex with Diana Bianchi, then 18, in his office and at homes owned by Brinkley, according to the Associated Press.

Cook testified that he hired Bianchi in 2005 after meeting her at a toy store. She was paid $20,000 to type magazine articles onto the company's Web site. Their affair began shortly thereafter, he said.

"In his office he asked me how I would feel if he told me that he was attracted to me and that's really how it all started," Bianchi said under oath, according to the NY Post.

"I think I was a little taken aback, but I wasn't against it either really," she added. "I wouldn't say that one of us pushed the other. I would say that it was a mutual thing."

During the romance, he said he gave Bianchi spending money, often hiding it in various places (one time he placed $500 under a rock).

After their affair, he said he paid her $300,000 — presumably to keep quiet — to protect himself and his family from scandal in May 2007.

Cook was asked to read an e-mail he sent to the teen.

"I don't know, you put me under your spell," he said, according to the Post. "You never asked me, but I left you money anyway."

Brinkley's attorney — who also said Cook spent $3,000-a-month on web porn (which Cook admitted) — said that the model, 54, found out about the affair from the teen's stepfather before she was to speak at a high school graduation. Cook also tearfully admitted to pleasuring himself in front of a Web cam, according to the Post.

"Peter has apologized," Cook's lawyer said. "He's cried his eyes out. He's lost his marriage."

Cook's lawyer blamed Brinkley for creating a public spectacle.

"For goodness sake: She's on her fourth husband," he told the court. "Your honor, we're here because of the self-indulgent wrath of a woman scorned."

The back-and-forth barbs are expected to get worse as the trial continues.

The two are expected to bash each other's parenting skills in an attempt to get sole custody of their children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 9 — the main point of contention in the trial.
