I don't believe Dr Drew was sayig that Kevin himself caused Britney's problems, just that their relationship was likely toxic.It happens all the time. Two different people, even if they care for each other, can not always meld gracefully. Kevin is not a bad person any more than Britney is. People lose their way all the time in real life. Britney's struggle is just documented in detail, in your face, and in a negative way by the press.I am happy to see her beginning to get back on track and I wish the best for her.I also have an entirely different and now positive viewpoint of Kevin. He has really stepped up to the plate as a mature adult through this entire ordeal - Not something I would have expected from him, based on the perception the press painted of him. Sometimes something very good comes out of bad times. I wish people could have more compassion for their fellow man and wish them the best. Some of these comments make me very sad. Who are we to judge another human being?

Kelvin is a jerk and it will not END YET. You should be watching his bank account and there will be more to come. Britney's kids are now held in hostage and are still in hostage. Most likely he lost heavily in game of golf, Britney needs to settle most of his debts and that may be the reason of the divorce. After divorce, she has to cope with babies, career, money, harassment from the ex, so much so that she ended up in rehab, shaving of head. After rehab, she might have realized that things aren't right in the household during her absence, could have some issues with the mom as she trusted and depended on her to take care of her stuffs but the mom was probably too busy taking care of the sister and maybe even tried to patch their difference and helped them to reconciled.

If he had been an honorable person, he had the whole to 2007/08 to prove that by ensuring her he is for the kids and not more custody gains (he already got his divorce settlement, if used wisely is sufficient even if he cannot work for another 10-20 yrs), not dragging someone to court weekly, monthly and every other month through what's term as "mental abuse".

Stop blaming JT for Britney's fall or the cause of her mental state. Their puppy love was over since 2003 and in 2004, Britney was as normal as any American woman, partying, finding new love etc... JT was also still young then and isn't ready to settle down or Britney could have mistaken that he is a gay since his friend claimed he is.

Before/after marriage, after divorce, Britney was always accompanied by either an assistant or bodyguard when out and about. Should she need to prove otherwise now?

The only way Sh*tney will come back is if she dies (sad but true, look at Marc Bolan, Keith Moon, John Lennon and so forth. When they got sh*t together they died either from OD or murder or whatever cause of death). Money says once her dad is gone from picture, just a matter of time before the leeches come back and this time with bad results. We mean, what mother would give up their kids in court battle. I think it was actually right around the time of "In the Zone." She was always all nervous and ansy. That's when Christina said she was a "lost little girl" and she married that guy in Vegas. We don't want Britney back. The girl's a drug addict and was doing tons of drugs before K-Federswine entered the scene. She lost her virginity to a guy who was a High School senior. Then Justin did damage control. After her split, she slept and screwed everyone from the hot dog vendors to Colin Farrell to Fred Durst to Madonna to Columbus Short (a backup dancer who had a pregnant wife at home). Lest not forget her marriage to Jason Alexander. Her In the Zone album was selling less than her first three and ticket sales were below Britney standards and now playing smaller arenas than last tours. She pulled the quickie marriage to save career. Then she mocked suicide in a video. Then meets K-Fed and decided to fake a knee injury to be with him and cancel further engagements. Then the harlot drugged and drank whilst pregnant with both trash kids with that in-heat dog. We said it, her kids were born trash. The girl is neither bipolar nor Post Partum, the girl is brain dead. She took so much drugs that her brain was destroyed. Ozzy Osbourne was bipolar from the word go and his out of control behavior got him fired from Black Sabbath yet the same behaviors made him a legend (biting head off of live birds and bats, urinating on The Alamo in San Antonio (banned from San Antonio for a decade), plotted to urinate on Capitol Hill, snorted live ants and of course attempted murder on Sharon (his wife) in 1989).

I get that Justin was hurt by Britney but everyone always paints him as the saint, and he isn't. He basically told the whole world she cheated on him and that her good girl image was a cover-up. Breaking up with your first real love and then having him put you on blast to everyone would be very difficult to handle. At the time, she handled it very well -- at least publicly. She broke down in tears in front of Diane Sawyer I believe, but that was the only time she showed weakness. I guess she was starting to deteriorate then, but just wasn't giving tale tell signs of it yet. Her parents also got divorced around that time. Yes she's responsible for her actions, but she didn't exactly have an easy year at the point when things started to unravel.

It didn't start with K-Fed, what about that 24 hour marraige she had before that and all the sleeping around she did? She started to "unravel" long before Kevin.............

If anything I think he may have kept her grounded for a couple years. Not that he is a saint but he certainly didn't cause anything.

Why would he even say something like that? I really like Dr. Drew but this sounds idiotic. Her life unraveling was only brought on by herself - nobody else can be held responsible for something like that. SHE is the one who asked HIM to marry her - it's not like he held a gun to her head and made him be with her. I am not a psychologist but I think this all started when she had kids and was suffering from postpartum depression that escalated way out of control. She didn't have any problems until then. I just wish she would go away either way.

That is NOT the moment the sh*t hit the fan. It was when Justin Timberlake went on the Barbara Walters show and let everyone know she was not the virgin she still professed to be. Her lies started to crumble, she lost it and started sleeping with anyone and everyone, and her image became slutty, instead of a tease. She did the one day marriage, then latched on to the least appropriate person (Kevin) and married him. She had the kids so she could proove to everyone that she was playing house and it was working. Everything that has happened then and now is a direct cry for attention, and a serious need for help. Which she still needs.

I agree that she was acting out long before Kevin came along. My young daughter (at one time), idolized Brit., but that changed real quick, as Brits style went down. May as well put a porn movie on for our kids, as to let them watch a Brit video. Kevin wasn't the cause of her problems... Britney was. And it all seems to boil down to her Bi-Polar illness, which should have been diagnosed long before now. There's that, and of coarse all the usual self centered attitude, of so many young celebs. Paps certainly didn't help matters, once they got out of hand.
