i believe britney is truly a good person, she seems 2 deal with her problems the wrong way and is very impulsive, but just like all of us she is HUMAN, and is not perfect, we all make mistakes. imagine having ur life, every personal detail of ur life watched all over the world,with everyone judging u. i would not give up my privacy for all the fame in the world. i pray britney does get out of the spotlight and stop looking for a man, she doesnt need one, actually her life was grand before she started worrying about a man. she needs 2 b happy with who she is and her life b4 she can ever have a real relationship with a man. most men just want her as a notch on their bedpost and to spend her money, she needs to just take a year off so she can get her life together i think if she did in the end she may still b able 2 save her career.

Yes it was absolutly a good idea. This attention that she is always getting only hurts her conditions more. Leave her alone and let her heal. Let the first person without sin throw a stone. Thank you Dr. Phil for being mabye one of the first people in britneys life to be put her well being ahead of ur pocket.

my question is, why was he going to have the show in the first place? He is such a family friend and does not want this girl being more exploited, so that would only make that part worse for her. Being even MORE disected on national tv. Offer therapy in private. Let HER decide years down the road about having the show.

Dr. Phil is the worst kind of media bleep. He had no place in that hospital, even if Lynne Spears did call him, Britney Spears is well over 21. He saw an opportunity to get ratings from this poor women who is obviously very ill. Britney Spears does not need a psychologist, she appears to need a PSYCHIATRIST. There is a big difference. Psychologists have Phds. and Psychiatrists are medical doctors who can deal with the mental health issues and prescribe medication. If she is bipolar, as some psychiatrists seem to think she is and she is displaying the symptoms of bipolar disorder, Dr. Phil couldn't help her anyway, since he cannot prescribe medicine. You have to go to medical school and be licensed to do that.

You know... I agree with Dr. Phil... the situation is to intense. People just need to leave Britney alone.

You don't have to have a doctorate to see what's goin on...any rational & reasonable person can come to the conclusion that her problems are of her making and only she can fix the mess she has gotten herself into. period. But feel free to believe whatever makes you happy.
