The child-actress turned movie star and producer might have missed prom the first time around, but she made up for it in style this Saturday when she hosted an 80's prom-themed birthday party for BFF Nancy Juvonen at her home in Los Angeles.

A source tells Usmagazine.com that Drew treated guests like Courtney Love, Jimmy Fallon, Ricki Lake, Kathy Griffin, and Michael Vartan to prom photos upon their arrival, Sixteen Candles on loop, and a playlist filled with hair band rock.

"Everyone was dressed in cheesy tuxes and froofy gowns" a source tells Us. "It was hilarious and outrageous."

Noticeably missing from the party? Drew's new wingwoman, Cameron Diaz. Perhaps the single Cam didn't feel comfortable going to prom stag?

Omigod! This sounds like so much fun! I love the 80s!

There is actually a party like this every Saturday at Webster Hall in NYC. It's an off-broadway show called, what else, THE AWESOME 80s PROM! You show up like you are an actual guest at a 1989 Senior Prom and there are characters there from 80s movies that interact and dance with you to 80s music. I got to dance with the hottie Captain of the Football team to "Lost in Your Eyes". You even vote for Prom Queen and King at the end of the night.

Drew should go the next time she is in NYC. And you should too if you love the 80s as much as I do.

Why on Earth are people pushing someone to get a 'boob job'. Or making them feel insecure about their breasts. It is sad to think that young women feel they need to disfigure themselves to get any respect or attention. It is a pathetic age we live in where people think they need to do this to themselves. It shows a tremendous amount of insecurity and low self esteem on the recipients part to get breast implants when they are naturally beautiful without them. And shame on anyone who think they need or encourage women to want bigger breasts.

This girl puts some much needed humanity in Hollywood, showing up for herself and her friend in a most unselfconscious way, being silly and playful in honor of her bud's and equally successful business partner's B-day. Both Drew and Nancy are quietly becoming mini-moguls in a very tough male-dominant business. It's impressive to see Drew Barrymore teach Hollywood what's really important.

i think it's awesome how drew isn't really in the "in" crowd in hollywood, yet she is cover girl's girl, is truly talented, and has a wild past, doesn't conceal it, and is totally beautiful and makes an effort to keep herself clean! unlike some younger actresses who think their job is a joke and can barely stare sober long enough to think....

US - why or why do you have to show us Courtney?? I think it's great she lost weight and all, but she looks really ragged. Not a picture I needed to see with her "girls"....
