I mean lets face it they are talentless hacks anyway so wouldn't the world be better if the likes of Britney and Paris crawled back under their rocks and faded into memory.

i think that no one should be surprised about the drug use in hollywood with all the money they have to spend why not get messed up every normal person does it its just not on the news or in magazines...everyone gets high just no one talks about it like when your a celebrity. I dont think there is anything wrong with having a good time as long as you know when to stop.

LEGALIZE, DONT CRITICISE.

Wow! Famous Hollywood celebrities doing harmful & illegal substances. Who would've thought? In truth though, aren't movie & TV stars, pro-ball players and others in the public spotlight really just people like everybody else? We think nothing or little when we read in the papers that Joe or Sue down the street smokes a little grass or snorts a line or two or even has three too many martinis over cocktail hour so why do we get in such a snit when someone in the public eye does it? Yes, of course there's the age old arguement that because of their high profile our youth look up to these figures and want to emulate them and to a point there's no denying that but in truth I didn't smoke pot because somebody famous did it, or drink a beer because some ball player appeared in some commercial. I tried marajuana & cocaine & alcohol because of all the anti-drug lies & half-truths spread by our concerned government officials & law enforcement community. I mean if the cops & politicians were that dead set against it, well it just had to be great. So feel sad for them when they suffer & get caught up in the down side of addiction, mourn for the loss of a great & talented individual when they pay the ultimate price but please remember they are only human like our own friends and family and while they should not be praised for such behavior neither should they be condemned for it. Furthermore lets consider our "War on Drugs". What a laugh! Were this country to legalise ALL controversial substances could end this so called war within a decade by taking the profitability out of the drug trade. Without contraband status the coca plant & the opium poppy are not very profitable crops to grow yet it is primarily our government's stance that keeps the demand so high simply because where there is money to be made there will be someone willing to make it and what's more, somebody willing to accept contributions to their re-election campaign. Anybody else starting to figure out where the problem is yet?

Everyone has their opinion. Just as well, everyone's opinion is just as valid. That aside, the government and school systems have made drugs out to be so terrible that the thought of legalization almost contradicts everything they have worked so hard for.

How about giving equal time to the stars who DON'T USE DRUGS and never have--- John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Erika Christianson and I'm sure lots more. By 'drugs' I mean street drugs and psychopharmaceuticals. Alcohol is also a drug but taken in moderation and not on a daily basis I would exclude this one.

The stars have the money to buy it and the have the money to get out of trouble so they can do all the drugs they want. When your rich and famous its a whole different world than middle class life. But if I was a star i'd be doing the same thing. You cant say anything about drugs if you've never tried them. they are nothing like what they teach you in school and once someone tries a drug and its not as bad as what they learned in school or it isnt any worse then alcohol they are going to try other ones. They need to quit trying to scare kids because it dont work.

30 years of the war on drugs and nothing has really changed except the size of the US prison population. Yet despite all of this the Government won't consider legalization or any kind of rationalizing of the drug laws? Why not? The simple answer is money and power. Too many people have too much to lose if we kill off the drug boogeyman. Things will have to get a whole lot siller and even more anti-democratic before anyone who can make a difference will have the guts to speakup.

Some people think that drugs in hollywood is a good thing but its not, all over America people are suffering from this bullbleep of a freeland (my ass). If the drugs were legalized there would be more druglord bleeps out there selling drugs to the highest bidder. I just think all those bleeping bleep drug bleepers go to hell and stay there, OOOO im sorry we are in hell, bleep IT!!! Drugs should be just flushed down a toliet and not be seen again. No offence to the hollywood stars go bleep yourself because just because your stars doesnt give you the right to go and blow someones head off and get away with it. Thats bleeped up!!!! It amazes me that ignorance of our society.....
Drugs are obvioulsy bad and this includes alcohol and tobacco that have probably destroyed more lives than any others. One difference with these is that they are legal and therefore the destruction is "MORE CONFINED" to the abuser's their selves or immediate family.

Next time you are rolling up a joint or chopping up a line think about the innocent 8 year old kid in Colombia who just had his father killed and his mom and his brothers and sister forced to move from thier little farm so the druglords could take it over to raise the drugs that "aren't hurting anyone but me"

I am an American, or should I say United States because in reality everyone from Canada to Argentina/Chile are also Americans, that has traveled and lived in various parts of the world and I have seen the destruction that is caused due to the illegal drug consumption in Europe and the United States. For the most part Colombia, Mexico, Peru do not have any large "Consumption" problems but they have been devastated in large areas where the people that are supplying the Europeans and US with OUR DRUGS routinly kill and generaly terrorize the local population if they do not cooperate, or turn their heads the other way to the illegal flow of drugs and the huge profits associated with it. You have a similar situation in the Afghanistan region for the Heroin supply.... Any one consuming drugs is supplying these thugs and terrorists with the money that they need to continue their work and dirty deeds..
I am not spouting this from a stance of a moral high ground as I myself have done my share of "recreational Drugs" over the years... Even still partake on rare occassions.... but it isn't right

Education is a good start, try educating you/use idiots who think that your daily reefer and twice monthly coke snorting session is harming no one but you... B*LLSH*T! It is harming and destroying the lives of many innocent people who want to do nothing more than eek out their livings in thier little parts of the world...
Legalization in limited forms is an alternative, I do not think it is necessarily a good thing on the consumption end although it could be used to spot people with problems earlier and offer them help.. I do think that legalization would help tremendously on the foreign fronts as it would allow the money to be directed to farmers etc and not to the druglords.

I honestly think 95% of people in hollywood are on some kind of drug. Mostly cocaine, to stay skinny. I am so sure these people are actually starving themselves, puhleeze! I think actors, actresses and anyone with a job in Hollywood, should be drug tested like the rest of americans have to do. I don't think anyone would actually pass the test. America is not f-ing stupid, I can spot a cokehead's body from a mile away. Pam Anderson, Teri Hatcher, Nicole Richie, etc... it's sooo obvious. Hollywood is one big gigantic lie.
Drugs and Hollywood go hand in hand, and who suffers? average working class people. because we get punished from getting proper treatment from doctors because these stupid bleep pill popping drunken a-holes abuse it , die and doctors get scared to write a prescription. there are people out there who can actually take vicodin for pain as prescribed.

smokin pot as a leisure time pursuit is fine, just like the whoopin's we got when we were kids.as a grown-up i figure it's what kept me from bein a rapin', robbin' murderin' uck.the only trouble i've ever been in has always usually been alcohol related.because of the nature of being high on mary jane, and the fact that it is still criminal to possess it,iis whats kept me OUT of trouble.i've watched as friends of mine and people i've known have coked their lives' away seemingly very quickly i'm also of the opinion that to tell my children that nothing that you see on tv is real so dont be tryin' THAT bleep or THAT bleep you see is a good way to give them a word to the wise so to speak.My grandparents watched the news and maybe 60 min. then rolled the thing back in the closet and turned the am radio back on, ya know?
