I think people need to think matters over before deciding to run-off and get married, because of their wealth. It should be more about love, and honoring a long lasting marriage. Eddie Murphy will tell you what he wants, what he really really wants: a paternity test. The actor, who recently dumped former Spice Girl Mel B, is demanding a blood test to determine whether he’s the father of her unborn baby (she’s reportedly five months along).
According to the New York Daily News, during an appearance on the Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard, Murphy was asked if he was happy with Mel "since she's pregnant with your child."
"You're being presumptuous because we're not together anymore," Murphy said. "And I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."
Unfortunately, Murphy, 45, forgot to tell Mel that they were over. Two days ago, the singer formerly known as Scary Spice was quoted as saying, "We're in love. … All [our] children have met and get on, too. … I can't wait to spend Christmas with him, and I can't wait to have this baby."
Eddie may have already moved on to less-impregnated pastures. He showed up at the Dreamgirls premiere on the arm of film producer Tracey Edmonds, estranged wife of singer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
The Beverly Hills Cop star already has six children with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy. Not to jump to conclusions or anything, Eddie, but if the high sperm count fits…

For the record tracey Edmonds wasn't a successful anything when she and Babyface met. She was a VIDEO GIRL. Check your facts! She was just a video rump shaker. So she couldn't have "made him" as one poster said. Also Mel B isn't broke. She has had successful endeavors in her own country and is educated. She has more assets than most of us. Of course not to the degree of the closet homosexual Eddie Murphy. But he is also almost twice her age. Don't you people realize he is nearly 50? This goes to F@ke...if anything Tracy Edmonds is an upgrade. Tracy is Stanford educated and was a successful real estate agent before she married Babyface. She's the one that helped Face get his assets straight and she helped him found their production company, not to mention she had her own record label. Unlike "scaryspice" who only has being a member of probably one of the worst groups in musical history to fall back on! That's why she latched on Eddie because she's trying to stretch that last 10 seconds of her 15 minutes of fame.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here. I don't think Eddie ever attended for his fling or whatever it was he had with Scary Spice to turn serious. I think Scary had other ideas. What I see is Eddie had hooked up with Scary really not too long after his now ex-wife dumped him. Again, I don't think he ever meant it to be a serious relationship and who knows, he may have even told Melanie that from the jump. But you know how women are...they can easily equate love with sex. I think Scary got knocked up on purpose to hold on Eddie and his money. I tell ya, of all the Spice Girls he could have had, he probably picked the ugliest/nastiest looking one outside of the one with that bad overbite.

Boy am I glad that all of you really know what happened in their relationship to be able to inform the rest of us!! Get over it! First off, in that interview he responded to the first question by saying they were not together. The interviewer than AGAIN asks him again about the baby, so he said they weren't together. Granted the last comment wasn't necessary, but regardless, the interviewer should have dropped the issue. And realistically, how could Mel NOT know they were split up???? My god, he has been dating the other lady for a month and a half. Sounds like Mel has some issues and was hoping that Eddie would clean them up for her. If he ain't the daddy, that's their business. Not any of yours who all seem to think it is. And as for hi havign so many kids...he was MARRIED for over 10 years!!!!! It's not like he was impregnating every woman he saw.. It's no secret Eddie was with Melanie on the rebound no doubt. Probably screwing her in some effort to stick it to his ex-wife or better yet, to counteract those gay rumors which I still believe. Unfortunately, Eddie failed to either put on a condom or take note of the fact that Melanie is a has been and needed some kind of notireity/money/etc. I have no doubt in mind this is Eddie's child.
