That's Pretty good TV!
Pretty Little Liars hasn't even aired its first season finale yet and there's already more drama in store.
Buoyed by the success of the show's winter premiere high of 4.2 million viewers, ABC Family announced plans for season 2 on Monday.
Based on the book series by Sara Shepard, Pretty Little Liars follows a clique of four popular high school girls who break up their friendship after their fifth member, Alison, is found dead. They suddenly begin receiving mysterious text messages from somebody who refers to herself as "A," leading some of the girls to believe she didn't die.
Ashley Benson, who plays queen bee Hanna, promises viewers won't be let down with the inaugural season's final episodes, which began airing January 3.
"I read the eighth book, but only the last chapter because I wanted to know who 'A' was," she tells UsMagazine.com. "We’re staying very close to the books. Everyone who has read the books has been very pleased with them."
The hour-long hit is set to air the new episodes this summer.
