Hello, hi, hey, thanks for coming back!!! Adele’s long-awaited new single “Hello” is officially here. The Grammy winner dropped her first track in three years on Friday, Oct. 23, along with a brand new music video.
The track comes after the Brit teased the song out of the blue with an unexpected snippet that aired during an X Factor UK commercial break on Sunday, sending the Internet into a frenzy with all kinds of feelings.
On Wednesday, the songstress finally verified her third studio album will indeed be titled 25.
“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record,” she shared on Facebook. “I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. But I haven’t got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to. What’s done is done.”
Adele scored six Grammys for her last album, 21, in 2012 and scored another Grammy in 2014 for “Skyfall.”
