Looking good and doing good!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof will be among the judges at this year's Miss Universe Pageant on Monday. But the reality star, 50, insists the competition isn't just about beauty: it's about finding a woman who's excited to give back!

"The winner spends her reign traveling the world to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and focusing on women's health issues," Maloof told Us Weekly. "Both women's issues and the fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic are extremely important causes to me personally and I'm so honored they've asked me to have a part in choosing a worthy ambassador."

So what's Maloof looking for when she helps choose the next Miss Universe? "A woman with elegance and grace who's smart, savvy, accomplished and beautiful," she said.

The Bravo star's stint as a pageant judge took her all the way to Sao Paulo, Brazil — a long way from Calif. where fellow Housewife Taylor Armstrong is still dealing with the suicide of her  estranged husband last month.

"I think [the cast of RHOBH] is still trying to process and make sense of what happened," she told Us. "As people, we go about our daily lives and sometimes things hit you out of nowhere that completely blindside you — and that's exactly what happened in this case. It came out of nowhere and we're all trying to cope as best we can."

The 60th Annual Miss Universe Pageant airs live Monday at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
