Your invite may have gotten lost in the mail, Kanye West! Amber Rose took a jab at her ex while pleading with Taylor Swift to include her at next year’s 4th of July festivities in the Amber Rose Show‘s series premiere on Friday, July 8, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The VH1 chat show’s preview clip features a segment in which Rose, 32, comments on current events. As might be expected, the model takes a moment to weigh in on Swift and her beach getaway to Rhode Island with new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston and numerous other celebrity pals over Independence Day weekend.
“Taylor seems to be having a great time partying with her squad and her new bae in Rhode Island on the 4th of July,” Rose tells the audience. “Her boy, Tom Hiddleston, rocked an ‘I Heart TS’ tank top.”
Rose then groveled jokingly, “Can I please come next year to your party? Please? And Taylor, as long as you know that my plus-one won’t be Kanye, then we’ll be straight.”
This quip is a reference to the music star having become a shared foe for Swift and Rose. West famously called out the “Bad Blood” singer on stage at the 2009 VMAs, and he recently name-dropped Swift derisively in his tune “Famous,” with the song’s video featuring a topless likeness of her.
West tweeted insults about Rose during a Twitter spat with Wiz Khalifa in January, and Rose fired back with a tweet about the “Jesus Walks” star’s apparent bedroom predilections. Rose and West split in 2010 after two years of dating, and she shares son Sebastian with ex-husband Khalifa.
