Angelina Jolie is in talks to reprise her role as Evelyn Salt, an undercover CIA agent who was revealed to be a Russian spy in the 2010 action thriller Salt.

According to Deadline, Sony Pictures has asked Kurt Wimmer to write a follow-up to the $300 million-grossing film. In August, the 36-year-old mom of six told Us Weekly she was game for a sequel.

"It's up to everybody here and if they want to see more," Jolie told Us at the film's London premiere. "I hope so!"

Associate producer Amy Lynn praised Jolie's performance, telling Us that the Oscar winner is "stunning" and "captivating" to watch. "She just steals the camera," Lynn said. "You are hypnotized. You can't take your eyes off of her."
