Update: More big names alert! Us Weekly has just learned that Christina Aguilera will also be joining JBL's Entertainment Series for the big game! The "Beautiful" singer will kick off celebrations, opening the night with a "New York inspired" performance, joined by the legendary NYC dance troupe The Rockettes!
The NBA All-Star Game's halftime show will go off with a "Bang Bang"!
Ariana Grande is set to headline the Entertainment Series presented by JBL during the 64th annual celebration on Sunday, Feb. 15, at New York City's Madison Square Garden, the NBA has confirmed to Us Weekly.
The game, which will air live on TV via TNT, is a fan favorite, showcasing the skills of all the big names in basketball, and will be watched in 215 countries around the world.
The All-Star Game is always popular amongst celebrity NBA fans. Beyonce and Jay Z have attended in the past, as well as Drake, Chris Tucker, and other stars.
Last year, the NBA landed in New Orleans for the 2014 celebrations. Pharrell Williams kicked off the pre-game show, bringing out celeb pals Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and Diddy to help him out.
For Grande, it seems 2015 is shaping up to be a big year. Earlier this month it was announced the "Problem" singer will join the likes of Madonna and Ed Sheeran when she performs live at this year's Grammy Awards.
The 21-year-old singing sensation is up for multiple trophies at the 57th awards ceremony, too, nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for My Everything, and with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang."
