They'll be back! Terminator fans rejoice: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Robert Patrick just had an amazing Terminator reunion. The actors took a selfie together on Thursday, Dec. 3.
"The Reunion of the Machines! Fantastic to see my T-1000 friend Robert Patrick and catch up and reminisce about old times," Schwarzenegger, 68, captioned the photo, which he posted on his Facebook page and Twitter.
"@Schwarzenegger @robertpatrickT2 You can't find a nicer machine than RP!" one commenter wrote in response. Patrick, 57, quipped back: "Well you can't!"
The longtime buddies both donned suits as they attended the Sinatra 100: An All-Star Grammy Concert in Las Vegas.
The former California governor and Patrick played Terminator and T-1000, respectively, in the 1991 sci-fi blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Schwarzenegger, who played the cyborg assassin in the 1984 original, went on to reprise his role in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Terminator Genisys (2015).
Back in 2002, ahead of the third movie, Schwarzenegger opened up about getting the chance to play the iconic character once more. "It feels great to play the Terminator again. You feel like you’re doing something that not only pleases you, but it also pleases [the fans]," he told MTV News at the time. "There’s not one single interview that I’ve done in the past 10 years where I’ve promoted any of my films [in which] people didn’t come up to me and say, 'When are you gonna do another Terminator?' That’s the first question I get."
