Jingle all the way! Us Weekly caught up with Ashley Iaconetti, Frankie Grande, La La Anthony and more celebrities on the red carpet at Z100’s Jingle Ball 2016 in New York City on Friday, December 9, to discuss the holiday season. Watch the video above for all of the stars’ fun anecdotes!
First, Us Weekly senior reporter Travis Cronin asked the celebs about the weirdest fan gifts they’ve ever received. Girl Meets World star Sabrina Carpenter said she once got a framed picture of a fan winning a swimming medal. “It’s really sweet, right? It’s just random!” she said. “Like, I’m proud of you, you know?”
Dr. Mehmet Oz, meanwhile, said a fan recently gave him pork rinds, while singer MØ received “male panties with, like, a cow painted on it.”
As for the stars’ favorite holiday albums? “Christmas & Chill by Ariana Grande, duh,” Frankie Grande gushed of his younger sister’s six-track 2015 EP, before adding, “But [also] Céline Dion.”
OBB, also known as the Oswald Brothers Band, followed suit with another fan-favorite Christmas album: “Probably Justin Bieber‘s … from how many years ago?” lead singer Zachary Oswald said. (FWIW: Under the Mistletoe was released in November 2011.)
Anthony, 37, opted for another classic: Run D.M.C.’s 1988 holiday tune “Christmas in Hollis,” which she said reminds her of New York when “Christmas is right around the corner.”
Grande, 33, and Iaconetti, 28, also opened up to Us about who they’re hoping to meet under the mistletoe this year. “Anyone, call me,” the Big Brother 16 houseguest quipped. The Bachelor Nation star, meanwhile, said she has her eyes set on actor Ryan Phillippe.
“He’s good for a one-night thing,” she joked. “He’s the only guy who could, like, walk into my apartment, say nothing to me and be like, ‘I’m going to have my way with you.'”
