Ali Tears Up Talking About Engagement to Roberto

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky can't help getting emotional when talking about her engagement to Roberto Martinez.
"Every single time I watch the proposal, I cannot help but tear up. It's just so beautiful. I don't know, it makes me really happy," Fedotowsky told UsMagazine.com -- while tearing up -- at the Power Balance All-In for a Cure event at Drai's Hollywood Tuesday.

The former Facebook exec, 25, beamed while speaking about her fiance.
"Roberto has this way of making me feel like I am the only person in the world. Not only the only woman in the world, the only person in the world when we are together," she gushed. "And he's kind, and caring, and so genuine. And just a good, good man. The type of man that, you know, any father would be glad to see their daughter with."
She's not the only fan.
"My dad loves him. Loves him!" she told Us of her beau, who is of Puerto Rican descent. "My dad also... his girlfriend is from Puerto Rico so he…sort of also he realizes from his culture the values in [Roberto's] culture…his girlfriend projects those same qualities that he saw in Roberto. So he's like I know that... she brings me to a wonderful place in my life and that Roberto will do that for you."

Fedotowsky plans to walk down the aisle "sometime very soon," she says.
As for who will be there, Martinez tells Us, "I think as long as we have the important people there, which is my family, but I have a big family. It's going to be big."
Up next for the couple: Kids! Even though Fedotowsky has said they plan to hold off for a bit, she tells Us they "absolutely" want to start a family.
Fedotowsky admits there was "a lot of pressure to pick someone in the end" of the Bachelorette.

"Some people were really supportive for my quest for love in the beginning and then when they heard the rumors that I was single, so many people turned on me all of a sudden. I thought 'Oh my goodness, imagine if I didn't pick anybody, imagine if he wasn't there," she tells Us. "I think that's what happens to a lot of people. The one really isn't there and maybe they pick just to pick. Because of that pressure... if he wasn't there I don't know what I would do. I think I'm supposed to be with him. I'm just... we're going to make it."

61Ali is a plain Jane-not much to look at and has no taste in clothes and her hair is always a mess. Once the lights start flickering, another couple will split. They are enjoying the limelight for now but it soon will end. I just don't see them getting married or together much longer.
Ali and Roberto look so happy together. I think his proposal was genuine and I believe she truly loves him. I believe they will get married and have that beautiful family together. I think that Ali and Roberto make a beautiful couple. I could never see Chris and Ali as a couple, I think they are better off as friends. I'm so happy she picked Roberto. I hope that they stay together and get married and have children.
No offense, but she seriously gets on my nerves. She thinks a real relationship should be a fairytale. She wants a hasty relationship over a slow one. She's obsessed with looks and is always commenting on how "hot" she thinks Roberto is. But, he's not even that hot, Chris is better looking. I just say, good luck Roberto, in dealing with a girl like this. urgh.

Get a grip! EVERY relationship is great IN THE BEGINNING. You're all in lust and giddy and excited and acting like a fool with the sex kicking in. Give it 6 months and see where you're at, HA! I always think it's hilarious when people act like this over a new relationship, "oh he's the ONE", and you've know him all of 3 months! It takes a YEAR to start to know someone, because at first everyone is on their BEST BEHAVIOR and with them, the cameras are going and they are in the press and public eye. Wait till the cameras are off and everyday life sets in and you get to KNOW the person. No one knows what anyone is about until you've know them a few years and the giddiness and lust wears off, THEN see if they are still together. People in new relationships need to calm down. Good Lord.
To tell you the truth, I had my heart set on Chris being chosen at the end. But, to see the way Ali looks at Roberto reminds me how Trista looked at Ryan. Wishing the couple nothing.... but the best. Way to go Ali!!!!!!!!!!!
Ali, ignore the critics...they don't know you! This was my utmost favorite season of the bachelorette and bachelor combined! I can see that you are really happy and that is all that matters!

normally I think these bachelor/bachelorette couples are total fakes, and I don't think Ali is completely genuine in 'finding a husband' (more like a career in showbiz), but I think Roberto is a keeper. Maybe not necessarily true love but he seems sincere. His happiness and confidence is infectuous! and so frickin cute too!
