Bachelorette's Ashley: Why I Know JP's The Right Guy for Me

The Bachelorette's JP Rosenbaum has yet to tell Ashley Hebert he loves her, but that didn't stop the 26-year-old Hebert from falling absolutely head over heels for him during Monday's hometown date episode.

PHOTOS: Which Bachelor stars have found love after the show?

During his portion of the episode, Rosenbaum -- competing against Ben Flajnik, Ames Brown and Constantine Tzortzis -- took Hebert to his hometown of Roslyn, N.Y. to meet his parents, brother and his brother's girlfriend. Before dinner, the couple enjoyed alone time at a roller rink, where Hebert couldn't contain her feelings. "I feel like I'm back in 7th grade!" she gushed as the pair made out under a disco ball in true "couples' skate" style before toasting each other with wine in paper cups.

"I feel like I've known JP forever," Hebert enthused of the 34-year-old construction manager. "I'm so comfortable around him. I hope he'll stay in that moment and know what I feel for him is so real." Still, the smitten bachelorette continued to play it safe until she met his parents, telling the cameras she wanted to make sure their connection was mutual.

Explaining to Hebert that his last relationship ended in severe heartbreak, Rosenbaum admitted he's "100%" sure of their bond. In fact, he told his mom he'd propose on the spot if the moment was right. Cautiously optimistic, Mrs. Rosenbaum offered her stamp of approval, telling Hebert that she better take care of her son. "I'm so scared that his heart will be broken because he looks at you with love in his eyes," she told Hebert.

As Rosenbaum opened up to his family about the new love of his life ("I want her to pick me now," he told his brother), he was finally more forward with Hebert about his feelings.

"I'm on such a high when I'm with you, and then when I'm without you, it's miserable," he told her. "I don't want to be without you. I've accepted the fact that at the end if this, if I get heartbroken, at least I can say I gave it my all. I'm willing to risk it all to fall in love."

On next week's final three episode -- with eliminated bachelor Brown sadly out of the picture -- Rosenbaum, Flajnik and Tzortzis will travel with Hebert to Fiji for overnight dates.

i get the feeling ames is gay . it would be nice if people were considerate and NOT REVEAL THE ENDING. (angela..... ) i think they should let the final four date for 3 months at home, then pick the winner onn LIVE tv for the finale so @ssholes like angela don't spoil it for others. she would make a bettter decison and they wouldn't break up as readily either.

Ashley should not pick JP in the end. He is way too possessive and jealous. Makes for a miserable life for her and I think she is an independent type of gal.

Ben or Constantine would be good picks, but JP is the guy for her. I picked him for her from day one and am happy to hear that he was her pick. the chemistry was always there. He has integrity. I like how he dealt with the whole Bentley issue. I am praying for this to last.

If everyone has the scoop then why watch this week?????

  • July 19, 2011 - 4:05pm Kara McCoy

NOOOOOOOOO JP is to good for Ashley. She's an emotional roller-coaster, unstable and clearly someone who does not know how she feels from one day to th next and constantly needs reassurance. RUN JP RUN!!!

@Mary Kay - Ashley didn't give a reason buuuut, I think when Ames mother told him to step it up with Ashley because she had told her that her and Ames relationship was moving the slowest, well then he tried to be more romantic and took her to a picnic under the magnolia tree's, then kissed her, the look on their faces looked very awkward. His lean in for the kiss was awkward and he looked stunned that he kissed her. I personally think that was the moment that she knew. She didn't look happy. She looked kind of disappointed. That's just my guess is there was no romantic chemistry.

Ashley is with J.P. have been engaged for awhile

  • July 19, 2011 - 3:40pm Angela Salic-Anderson

Constantine will leave the show next week. Ashley has been engaged since the show ended about 3 months ago. I like JP he's a good choice for Ashley...Ashley even hinted that it's JP.

Well, I had been rooting for Ames, and after stating that he would be the perfect husband, I sure wish Ashley had given some explanation for eliminating him. But I think JP is her probable choice. She's needy. He's needy. But yet again, can't see the romance with JP lasting long...

she picked JP, word has been out for awhile

  • July 19, 2011 - 1:01pm Becky Swancy Williams

I really think she should pick constantine...he seems to be so real and his family looks so loving..and he is sooooooooooo hot...

  • July 19, 2011 - 12:47pm Angie Martin

I think she should pick Ben F. I'm not crazy about JP. I think JP would be very controling. My choice is either Ben F. or Constantine second choice.

i really like Ben F. and JP i am kind of curious about his past relationship that ended bad? cuz they keep mentioning it....i really loved ashley and jp's rollerskating, and ben is so sweet when he was sheding tears last night......either guy would be great for ashley

Personally I think she and JP had a chemistry from the get-go. He really impressed me when she told him about Bentley-he didn't get all arrogant and want to quit on her. Ben has the most idyllic lifestyle who wouldn't love it? Constantine has a wonderful close family and you just wanted to be there and join in with the dancing. p.s.I would like to see the Bach show stay more focused in the United States. All those wonderful places are wonderful to watch on TV yet they aren't realistic to what a normal couple goes through in dating. There are grogeous romantic places in the US-not just Las Vegas all the time. Also I would like to see older contestants have a chance at finding someone specil-like over 60-gasp!

  • July 19, 2011 - 11:03am Samantha Pizzi

I think she chooses Constantine. I like JP but it seems like he and his family are hiding something about his previous break up. If you are gonna mention it 1000 times, then tell the whole story. Plus it looks like next week he mentions not being ready to propose or something like that and it turns into a fight or something. I can't wait to see who she chooses though! And can I say, poor Ames! He looked absulutely stunned to be sent home but managed to keep smiling. What a sweet guy!

is she doesnt pick him i'll be pissed

  • July 19, 2011 - 10:34am Barbara Stephens

Yes, he is the best choice for her. I think he is a total sweetheart and I hope that she doesn't end up breaking his heart. He appears to truly love her. She is a bit boring to me, but if he loves her for who she is, then I wish them all the luck
