Bam Margera Opens Up on ‘Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn’: I’ve Been ‘Completely Lost’ After Friend Ryan Dunn’s Death

In the VH1 series’ preview clip, the Viva La Bam alum, 36, tells therapist Jenn Mann that his downward spiral with substances began as he was forced to grapple with his Jackass collaborator and close friend Dunn’s passing.

“It just seems like everything at one point came crashing down,” Margera says. “That’s when it wasn’t even drinking for the fun or for the social part of it. It was just drinking because [of] total depression, kinda.”

He adds that Dunn’s untimely death led to “just the fact of [me] just being completely lost. Like, ‘Everything sucks, and the only thing that doesn’t suck is this bottle of Johnnie Walker.'”
