Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have arrived at the 81st annual Academy Awards. Jolie wore an Elie Saab gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Ferragamo shoes and Lana Marks bag.

She walked the carpet, with Pitt holding her arm. The two briefly broke apart to do individual press interviews. Both are nominated for their lead dramatic roles; Pitt, for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Jolie for Changeling. "It's nice," Pitt told E! News in its Oscars pre-show. "It's a nice honor for both of us. More than that, it's just nice being with people we respect and being in the same category with [Sean] Penn and [Mickey] Rourke. It's just a big night..."

There is still no sign of Jennifer Aniston, who is set to present at the show and bring beau John Mayer as her date.
