Brian Williams, Lester Holt “Rap” in Jimmy Fallon’s Hilarious “Rapper’s Delight” Remix

Jimmy Fallon‘s first week as host of The Tonight Show is still going strong! The Saturday Night Live alum continued his streak of sure-to-be-viral videos on Wednesday, Feb. 19, with a hilarious clip of Brian Williams and Lester Holt rapping — sort of — to the Sugarhill Gang’s 1979 classic “Rapper’s Delight.”

The remix features dozens of old news clips pieced together and set to music. NBC Nightly News anchor Williams is the main star, but weekend anchor Holt also raps a verse, and even Today show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford makes a cameo.

Fallon first started creating videos of Brian Williams “rapping” while hosting Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Past mashups include Warren G‘s “Regulate,” N.W.A.‘s “Straight Outta Compton,” and Snoop Dogg‘s “Nuthin But A G Thang.” But “Rapper’s Delight” might top them all.

“Tonight on @FallonTonight is one of the best Brian Williams raps we’ve ever done,” Fallon tweeted before the show on Feb. 19.
