The Dancing With the Stars cast for season 11 was announced Monday evening.

The ladies hitting the dance floor: Brandy; Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey; Margaret Cho; The Hills alum Audrina Patridge; Florence Henderson; Bristol Palin.
"She's excited for me ... she knows this will be hard work," Palin said when asked how her mom Sarah felt about her new gig. Will she be in the ballroom? "Hopefully!" she told DWTS host Tom Bergeron.
The men: Michael Bolton; Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino; David Hasselhoff; NBA champ Rick Fox; NFL quarterback Kurt Warner; rapper Kyle Massey.
Hasselhoff said, "I think it's going to be harder than the Comedy Central roast .. but I am happy to be here. My two daughters love this show and convinced me to do it."

I thought this was called "Dancing with the STARS"? Not "Dancing with the Morons". I mean, honestly, they couldn't get anybody else to do it? Yeah, I see a very abrupt ending to this show in the near future....
Bristol Palin? Mike "the situation (whatever)! Give me a break - they are not stars. I will watch if they get eliminated quickly; otherwise I won't - they are ruining the idea of the show!

I can tell by the many posts here that several perhaps don't know much about football. I recommend reading about Kurt Warner; he's the greatest role model imaginable and an extremely generous humanitarian. I truly hope he can win.

Thank God for Florence Henderson!! Someone classy, everyone loves, and that will represent the older population well because she probably can dance very well unlike DWTS past selections. Go Florence!

I actually enjoy the show, but this is without a doubt the WORST grouping of "stars" ever. I mean if the show were called "Dancing with Random People" then fine, but comon'!
What is lower than whale poop? The depths to which this show has sunk to find "Stars." Or are the dancers the "Stars" that this motley crew is dancing with. The only star in the bunch is Florence Henderson. My question is why is Bristol Palin a "Star" for getting knocked up by an idiot, for having a out of touch mother or just because she is so sweet. The Hoff is a joke and that scumbag from Jersey is hideous. Throw in Rick Fox whose claim to fame is being married to Miss America at one time. Kurt Warner is a star and I thought that he was above this. Is Margaret Cho going to dance with a girl? I might watch it to see that. What a joke.

DWTS is degrading itself with a red neck like the Situation. What is TV doing by hiring trash and talentless people? We should blame Television for the way our society is; these producers have too much power and ZERO responsibility. They enter our homes everyday with their shows and intend to dictate values and behavior. People are vulnerable and take what they see on TV as the right thing to do / say... Unfortunately, that's what we have in this country. Those so called reality shows / stars should be banished from TV for the audience sake. We already have a lot of trash on TV, we don't need Situations, Snookys or those ghetto Desperate housewives from New Jersey. How can a network go so low???

For the first time EVER, I think the group of celebrities (for the most part) is so pathetic that I'm not even going to watch. And I was a VERY devoted fan too. I just think it's no longer a DANCE competition, and is now just viewed as a career booster. They should just call it "Dancing With The Media Ho's."
