Brooke Burke Is "So Excited" to Co-Host DWTS

Brooke Burke can't wait to co-host Dancing With the Stars.
"Today is one of the most exciting days ever!!! With the exception of my family and children, today tops the list of all my professional endeavors!!!" Burke, 38, wrote on her Web site Monday morning shortly after ABC confirmed her new job.
"I’m crossing off one more thing from my Bucket List!" continued the actress, who won the 7th season of the show. She'll work alongside Tom Bergeron on the 10th season, which premieres March 22 and features Kate Gosselin and The Bachelor Jake Pavelka.
Burke says she really relates to the competitors.
"I know what it’s like to step out there on the dance floor, on a whim and a prayer, trying to pull off the impossible," she says. "I’ll see you there March 22nd. This time a LOT less stressed!"

Burke replaces Samantha Harris, who announced last January that she was leaving the show so she could dedicate more time to The Insider.

37Brooke Burke does not come across as a highly trained host. She is trashy, kind of a want to be Pamela Anderson. I don't get why they chose her after having a host like Samantha Harris? Other than maybe her twitter following. Maybe Tom is a big old pervert. I do like that Pam and Kate are on the show this year. I think the cast is great, but chosing Burke to host is like asking that male "Rock Star" host (can't think of his name) to replace Tom??? DUH!!! And, why is Brooke this role model for Mothers???? Hello??? Has anyone really taken a close look at her life, and the choices she made. A little narcistic....whatever.
Thank heavens!!! Now I know I won't have to watch "look at me, I'm so pretty" MELISSA anymore. My husband and I will be enjoying something without Melissa on it for a change.

Not her. Of all the people they could have picked and they pick this person. I think she will be a horrible judge. Plus she thinks she's so beautiful. I want to enjoy the show not watch her try to flaunt herself all over the place. I don't even want to see her at all.
I guess I won't watch now that she's on.

I barely remember her being on the show but I sure as heck don't remember that she won. But anyway, so glad they didn't get Melissa. AND ANYONE IS BETTER THAN CROSS-EYED, BEEDY EYED SAMANTHA HARRIS.
Thank gawd it isn't Melissa Rycroft. I think anyone is better than air-head Samantha Harris... EXCEPT Melissa. So Burke will be a huge welcomed change. Now maybe I'll watch the back stage interviews I could never watch with air-head Samantha. Thank you DWTS that it isn't Melissa!
Can't we vote her off?????? Don't the fans have any say????? I guess I have to find something else to watch on Monday nights now because I don't think I can watch a show that promotes low life trash anymore.
I can't believe they picked this s.k.a.n.k. to host the show. There are a million women in Hollywood that would be so much better and would not run this show into the ground. It's bad enough we have to watch that w.h.o.r.e. Pam Anderson, but now we have to watch another low life piece of garbage every time the show is on. What is Tom thinking about all of this. I mean, he has to be with this w.h.o.r.e. on every episode. Poor guy. This show is no better than Jersey Shore.
