Carole Radziwill Talks Jules Wainstein’s Eating Disorder, Denies She and Bethenny Frankel Are Mean

Not mean, just confused! Carole Radziwill defended herself against accusations from host Andy Cohen that she and Real Housewives of New York City costar Bethenny Frankel are mean to new Housewife Jules Wainstein.

Radziwill, who was a guest on Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, June 29, was asked by a caller if she thought she and Frankel were a bit too hard on Wainstein.

“You guys are getting a Mean Girls thing,” Cohen interjected.

Keeping her calm, Radziwill defended her actions. “Mean girls is very eighth grade language, so I don’t think of it that way,” she responded. “We’re not hard on Jules at all, Jules is very open about her eating disorder. I think I’ve had one conversation about it,” the brunette reality star went on.

“She does have a lot of food issues, and the show does mostly revolve around dinners and lunches and cocktails, and it’s the kind of thing where I just sometimes feel from her, it’s like: Look but don’t look, ask but don’t ask,” she explained. “It’s a very complicated thing to navigate. So, no, I don’t think we’re mean girls; we’re not in eighth grade either.”

Carole Radziwill denies she’s a mean girl.

As Us Weekly reported previously, Wednesday night’s RHONY saw Frankel, Dorinda Medley, Radziwill and Ramona Singer join Jules for a quasi-pizza-cooking class. After a friendly start, the room turned a bit icy when Jules (who was seated next to Radziwill) joked about putting Adderall on her pizza and proceeded to talk about how she didn’t focus on her weight or eating, that her eating disorder is in the past, and that she weighs approximately 115 pounds.

“She’s even crazier than I thought,” Radziwill quipped to the camera, with Frankel agreeing: “She looks like she weighs 115 ounces!”

Another caller wondered if Radziwill relied on Frankel a little too heavily to form her opinions.

“Do I agree with Bethenny all the time on the show?” the surprised TV personality wondered aloud. “I guess so. I don’t agree with sometimes how she delivers her message, but I think what she says is true and accurate,” she added.

“I have my own opinions,” Radziwill concluded. “And a lot of time my opinion is, I agree with what Bethenny thinks.”
