Thick as thieves and ready for their comeback! Caroline Manzo and her family dropped by Us Weekly’s NYC headquarters this week to divulge details about their upcoming Bravo series, Manzo’d With Children. The matriarch of the family has said goodbye to her “housewives” title, and is thrilled to be showing a different side of herself, husband Albert, sons Albie and Chris, and daughter Lauren.
“I think it’s kind of cool that the viewers finally get to see who we are beyond just five women together and the families being a second thought,” Caroline told Us. “It’s focusing in on who they are as individuals as well as the family dynamic as a whole.” (The family visited Us one day before former costars Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison.)
The close clan have been sharing their lives with audiences since first appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009. Although they’ve shown their true colors before — the good and bad times — Caroline’s eldest son insists this time is a bit different.
“We kind of just forgot the cameras were there,” Albie, 28, told Us. “We really did live our life and put our real selves out there.”
Chris, 25, added: “Everything that we did, especially on my end, was just ridiculous. It was just so much fun, and honestly it really is our everyday life.”
