Can this tour survive?
As reported late Saturday, Charlie Sheen's debut performance of his sold out My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour in Detroit proved to be an epic fail.
What went wrong? 5,000 pumped-up fans filled up the Fox Theater for the sold-out show, which was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. What followed was a confusing, unscripted, un-rehearsed and very un-funny mess.

Things began badly with Sheen's opening act -- a comedian who was quickly booed. Sheen himself popped on stage to settle the crowd, who gave him a standing ovation. At last, the main event began at 9, with a montage of violent film clips and a live rendition of the National Anthem as sung by two porn stars.

Sheen re-emerged with his famous "goddesses" (who made out onstage), and quickly burned his Two and a Half Men bowling shirt. (Although the tour was inspired by his battle with the network, studios and creator behind his CBS smash, Sheen never once mentioned his adversaries by name during the show.)
Donning a Detroit Tigers baseball jersey stamped "Warlock" on the back, Sheen's incoherent ranting began: In a nonsensical tirade, the former sitcom star rambled about his "bleeding napalm heart" and slammed "feeble nabobs" and "bankrupt carnivals."

Restless, the audience began booing; some yelled "You suck!" and "We want Emilio [Estevez, his brother]."
Sheen's potty-mouthed retort: "I already got your f***ing money dude!"
The program continued with clips of Sheen's recent media blitz, his war with CBS and an unseen old movie with a young Johnny Depp. Clearly frustrated with how the show was going, Sheen sat down and embarked upon an audience Q&A session.
"Want to hear stories about crack? Who's done crack?" Sheen asked.
As boos continued to drown out Sheen, the crowd began departing the Fox Theater.
Additional, mostly spoofy clips were played as the remaining audience members -- and Sheen -- grew more and more agitated. Sheen attempted to read a letter from one of the goddesses and told one fan to "shut the f*** up."
Sheen finally stormed off the stage for good after less than an hour of his disastrous show. Rapper Simon Rexx performed a rap as the crowd continued to disperse.
By 10:15, as a Snoop Dogg video called "Winning" played, the house lights were turned on, and the audience remained in a massive uproar.

Tell Us What You Think
23Charlie "aka" Esteves had his time and now needs to bow out before he is so hated, he is errogant and doesn not get it, he is no god like figure and never will be, he should have begged them to take him back without his writers he is no one, another over paid actor who used the scripts to become something more than his mere mortal self, now without the huge pay checks he is just like any other actor out there except he blew his big shot and no one with any sense will likely want anything to do with him, so the big payday is a thing of the past, he should have kept his feet on the ground and ego in place, what an idiot over paid idiot!
When Sheen said "I already got your f***ing money dude!" he said it all. Fools.
Even if the show was better, who would pay $150 bucks to listen to this skank.
More people are laughing at the fools in the audience then at Charlie.
bahahahaha. that sounds hilarious.
why would people waste THEIR MONEY ON THIS IDIOT IN THE FIRST PLACE? PEOPLE WHO DID SPEND MONEY TO SEE THIS FOOL SHOULD BE OUT THE COST OF A TICKET FOR BEING STUPID IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Is anyone really surprised?
i dont know what to say except a few of you have said it
Charlie Sheen is an actor nothing more nothing less. Everything Sheen has ever done in his life has been scripted. Thatâ??s right. Someone else wrote it, drafted it conceived it and then Sheen himself walked on stage and spoke and preformed. What the public saw last night was what Sheen really had to offer. Nothing. Sheen is nothing more then a puppet.
There is an error with the article. The National Anthem was sung by one former porn star and an up an coming singer who is just a college student. Nothing more! I thought US weekly had better facts.
I don't understand...if you're buying tickets to see Charlie Sheen, aren't you going EXPECTING to see a train wreck? They got exactly what they wanted.
Is ANYONE honestly surprised that this was a mess???? All the morons who paid for tickets got exactly what they deserved.
The morons that bought tickets to this show should have their head examined. Don't know why they boo'ed him. They knew what they were buying into before they went to the show. After all, he was all over the news for a month with this crap before hitting the road. Don't boo him, because you were the idiot who bought a ticket to this crap!
The National Anthem was sung by 1 porn star and 1 innocent college girl that won a radio station contest to sing. 95.5 FM MOJO IN THE MORNING Charlie Sheen picked both of them as winners out of 1000 applicants. Please correct your article because it is defamation of character for the sweet, lovely 22 year that won a contest.
@ Elizabeth -- "Those people who went last night are despicable pieces of trash." For real? Wow. I agree with you that he probably does need help. But frankly, I bought a ticket because I was actually looking forward to him pulling it together and showing the world that he's got a sense of humor. Perhaps I was wishing that the whole "meltdown" was a publicity stunt. Clearly it's not. Fine, then he should take our money and check into rehab. No reason for you to lob insults at the people who wanted to give him a chance.
Elda, are you serious? The people bought tickets because they DID want to be part of that. It's no different than people in the 1800's paying a nickel to gawk at mental patients through a peephole in an asylum. Those people who went last night are despicable pieces of trash.
What went wrong is that this man is a mental patient and is being seriously exploited by this despicable Live Nation and all the sociopaths who bought tickets so they could laugh at someone with mental illness. I'm seriously embarrassed to be an American.
IT WASN'T a pretty picture, he got boo'ed big time!! he has got some issues and people don't want to be part of that.
When is this country going to open their eyes and see what a total loser this guy is! By paying $$ to see this epic failure everyone is just feeding into his ego. Best thing people can do is not buy tickets. Lets just hope all these venues that have him scheduled to perform do the right thing and cancel the show! It's the only way Charlie is going to get a clue!
