Dina Eastwood may be married to Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, with two showbiz projects of her own: starring in a new E! reality show, Mrs. Eastwood and Company, and managing an up-and-coming new South African boy band, Overtone.
But the 46-year-old is also a typically concerned mom to Morgan, a pretty and typical 16-year-old with some questionable body piercing plans!
On the premiere episode of Mrs. Eastwood and Company (airing this Sunday on E!), Dina thwarts Morgan’s dreams of getting her bellybutton pierced through fear and embarrassment — by getting her own naval pierced in a grisly stunt.
“The bellybutton piercing was pushing it a little far,” Dina told Us Weekly in a video interview of the extreme tactic to scare Morgan. “The only reason won on that was the blood . . . I won the battle and the war!”
At Dina’s side in the video chat is her stunning stepdaughter, model Francesca Eastwood, Clint’s 19-year-old daughter with actress Frances Fisher.
“He’s there if you need him to be there, but he’s not in your face,” Francesca tells Us of her Oscar-winning father’s chill parenting technique.
But don’t expect too many appearances from the 81-year-old Dirty Harry star on the E! show. “I’m not putting Clint’s life out there,” Dina explains, and she adds that she’s not your typical reality star.
“I don’t need that [reality show] income to survive,” she says. “That’s not my motivation,”
