In response to news that a group of male subjects recently dropped out of the study because of side effects such as mood swings and acne, Wolf humorously told Noah, 32, why she thinks the participants need to toughen up.

“You guys call that ‘side effects.’ I call that day four of a fairy-tale period,” the stand-up comic quipped. “Men are such little bitches.”

Wolf then went on to note that the men who took part in the study actually experienced an increase in their sex drive. She couldn’t believe that that side effect alone didn’t outweigh their pimples and cranky attitudes.

“You men always end up winning,” she said. “I mean, the shot might as well be called More Sex, Less Babies.”

The Comedy Central star also reminded viewers that women who take birth control experience or are at risk for a multitude of negative side effects, some of which are more severe than a bad complexion or an irritable disposition, such as blood clots and a stroke.

“Side effects are the only area where women earn more than men,” Wolf joked.
