Say goodbye to Demi Moore and hello to SJP!
Sarah Jessica Parker will take over Moore's role as feminist Gloria Steinem in Lovelace, Us Weekly can confirm. Though producers had been eyeing Weeds actress Mary-Louise Parker to replace Moore, 49, the Sex and the City star officially signed on for the part Friday.
Despite Moore being treated for "exhaustion" on Monday, the film's lead actress, Amanda Seyfried, 26, has been hard at work shooting scenes in L.A. all week. The movie, which also stars James Franco and Peter Sarsgaard, tells the story of '70s porn star Linda Lovelace.
Moore pulled out of the project earlier this week after she was hospitalized for "exhaustion." However, in a 911 call released Friday, a friend of Moore's said the actress "smoked something" and seemed "to be having convulsions of some sort" prior to being admitted to the emergency room.
On Monday, Moore's rep told Us the actress would be seeking "professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
