Dave Franco, Cara Delevingne Destroy James Corden in Epic Three-Way Rap Battle

They came to deliver! James Corden challenged Dave Franco and Cara Delevingne to a three-way Drop the Mic rap battle, and the actors definitely did not fool around. While Corden, 37, kick-started the battle by aiming insults at both the Nerve actor, 31, and the Suicide Squad actress, 23, the guests took pleasure in destroying the host by the end of the night.

Corden started the battle, which aired during the Late Late Show‘s Wednesday, July 27, episode, by going in on Franco: “Don’t worry there’s still time you’ll be discovered / but I’m pretty sure we actually meant to book your brother.”

He then turned on the British model-turned-actress: “Cara Delevingne from Paper Towns / I wish someone dropped a match and burned that movie down / You’re perfect for Suicide Squad, I’m being heartfelt / Because when I see you try to act it makes me want to kill myself.”

Harsh? Maybe, but the model had no qualms about hitting back just as hard. “You’ll kill yourself, you promise? Is that a fact? / I’ve never heard a better reason for me to act,” she rapped. She added, “I can see now the headlines about me / Cara Delevingne, the woman who saved late-night TV,” hitting her butt and bouncing away with a smile.

She then told Franco she’s never seen one of his movies, only to make a pun out of one of his latest: “Now You See Me? / No, sorry, I don’t.” In turn, the 21 Jump Street actor teased the Brit for being a member of Taylor Swift‘s squad and for attempting to hide an accent “thicker than your eyebrows” on screen.

But Franco saved the real fire for Corden. “James, your show ends at 1:30 every week / So hello to the pets whose owners fell asleep,” he rhymed. “British actor, you have to sing and dance to break into the scene / You’re a less talented, much fatter Mr. Bean.”

Clearly amused, Corden quipped back, “I actually like Mr. Bean, so the joke’s on you!”
