Demi Lovato Is a Badass Gangster, Fights Michelle Rodriguez in "Confident" Music Video: Watch Now!

What’s wrong with being… a total badass? With a crucial assist from Michelle Rodriguez, Demi Lovato continued her sexy streak in the new music video for her single “Confident.” The short film-style video, which was helmed by Sin City director Robert Rodriguez, went up exclusively on the Marriott Rewards website on Friday, Oct. 9.

It features Lovato as an inmate, who gets sprung out of jail by a crime boss, branded with his mark, and sent out to fight another badass lady, played by the toned-as-heck Rodriguez.

There’s some pretty epic fight scenes between Lovato, 23, and the men trying to hold her down (Symbolic? We think yes!) before she finally faces Rodriguez, 37. She manages to not get distracted by the Furious 7 star’s insane abs before attacking.

Both ladies seem equally matched and ultimately decide to team up against the crime boss himself. Thelma and Louise 2, anyone?

Demi Lovato’s new album, also called Confident, drops Friday, Oct. 16. In addition to “Confident” and her summer anthem “Cool for the Summer,” she also released her emotional ballad “Stone Cold” earlier this week. Tell Us: What do you think of her new music video?
