It's hard to believe there's something that Dolly Parton hasn't done. Well, here's one: The 64-year-old singer/songwriter/actress/Broadway composer/entrepeneuer/theme park owner is opening her first-ever retail store of all things Dolly, Dolly Parton's Trinkets and Treasures, in Nashville today and will be on hand for the official grand opening and pink ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"When I was growing up in the backwoods of the Smoky Mountains, any trinket was a treasure to me," says the vivacious singer. "The mail order catalog was my wish book. I wished I could have everything I saw. Those childhood memories inspired my new Trinkets and Treasures store. Come on in and wish and dream...and I will make them come true," she coos.

The 1000 square-foot space, located in an old storefront at 126 2nd Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee (next to the famous Wild Horse Saloon!) is actually designed to reflect Parton's "Coat Of Many Colors" schema, with an interior of pink, yellow, red, blue, green and purple. And, of course, it's filled with all of Dolly's music and videos everywhere including her recent Dolly: Live From London 2-disc set, t-shirts, hats and even item for kids a "Burpin' 9-5" baby bib. For you audophiles, there are special limited-edition "Coat of Many Colors" customized guitars that were hand-pained and emblazaned with rhinestones at her Nashville studio.

So, obsessive Dolly fans (Jake Shears included!), now's the day to have your version of heaven's gates open for business! For more info, visit DollyPartonMusic.net.

Anyone who says trashy things about someone like Dolly, (who is a very nice, down to earth lady) is a trashy person themselves. I've been a Dolly fan for nearly 30 years, believe me, she is an awesome lady in many ways. I met her 2 years ago and she is just as sweet as she can be. Dolly Rocks!! :)

I heard that Dolly bought three grocery store chains: Big Star, Harris Teeter and Piggly Wiggly. She's going to rename them Big Wiggly Teeters. ha ha just a joke.

Dolly, with her larger-than-life, knock-â??em-out curves, is still one of the greatest hotties of the world! At age 64 now, as of Januari 19 th 2010, she still looks better than a lot of those so-called supermodels. Iâ??d say itâ??s way overdue that she showed those 34Eâ??s aka â??The Best Boobs in the Bizzâ?? to the world, so câ??mon Dolly pose nude in the near future and donâ??t wait until yâ??er 100-th birthday or at least have the pictures that have been taken in the past published!! Make it a nice calender and you"ll have a best-seller on your hands!!

Anything Dolly does will work. She's a down home girl, but an excellent business woman. In this economy, trinkets are about all of us can afford or are willing to buy. Dolly is right. When you're poor, little trinkets do make you feel better. Hoping I can get to Nashville and visit the store.
