"I drew a blank [during the dance] and it was just one of those things," Phillips, 43, told Us Weekly after her elimination. "It's like taking a math test and you know all the answers and all of a sudden you go blank. We worked really really hard for that dance and somehow it just unraveled."

Though she earned the lowest score on this week's performance show, Phillips' partner Dovolani tells Us his celeb was really starting to shine on the dance floor.

"I am so proud of Chynna," Dovolani told Us Tuesday. "I feel like the rug got taken from under us because she had so much potential and I was having such a blast this season."

Heading back into the recording studio to prepare for the April release of the latest Wilson Phillips album, Phillips tells Us she's looking forward to taking a breather now that she's off the show.

"This whole ride has been really emotional. A lot of late nights, a lot of early mornings, a lot of training, a lot of spray tanning — it's been very all consuming and that takes its toll on you sometimes," the booted contestant reasoned. "It'll be nice just to be able to stop and take a big deep breath and catch up with life."
