David Hasselhoff, whose cha cha tanked with the Dancing With the Stars judges, wasn't surprised he was eliminated on Tuesday's show.

"We knew we were in trouble after the judges gave us a 15," he said Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "I wasn't real big on technique. I was big on having fun and showmanship."

His professional partner Kym Johnson told UsMagazine.com he "was fine" when he went backstage after being voted off.

"He has a great outlook on life," she told Us. "He was like, 'This was a great experience. Now on to the next thing!' He's very positive. He's now performing his live show, singing; the show he does in Germany. He's kicking it off in the US. Maybe the Hoff and I will go Down Under on tour!"

The rest of the cast is sad to see him leave, especially Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

"Me and the Hoff are mad cool," he told Us. "He's an awesome guy."

The Situation, 28, told Us he was "nervous" he was going to be eliminated instead.

"I didn't even sleep at all!" he said. "I mean, this was the first time I have ever accepted criticism and smiled and taken it. I walked away and when I got home, I read all the messages from the fans on Facebook and Twitter saying, 'You did awesome,' and that made me feel good. I really appreciated that.

"I'm going to try really hard, really put in the work," he told Us. "I'm willing to try new things, different costumes. I'm willing to shave my head if that's what it takes! I'm willing to play that role and face the competition!"
