Elvis Songwriter's Granddaughter Debuts Pop Video!
Elvis Presley was certainly no stranger to some pop hits, and 45 of them -- including "Lonesome Cowboy" and "Just For Old Time Sake" -- were penned by legendary songwriter Sid Tepper. But, oh, how times have changed. Nowadays, a new member of the Tepper dynasty is overtaking the charts, namely, his 19-year-old granddaughter Joanna.
The Boulder, Colorado-born 19-year-old has just hit YouTube with her debut hit, "Girls Will Be Girls," a bouncy teen pop nugget that finds her relishing girl power with pals while singing along to a catchy Go Go's-esque groove. Consider it 2010's answer to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."
Can't wait for more? Consider this a scrumptious tease as she puts the finishing touches on her debut disc, which is being produced by Eminem collaborator Richard "Segal" Huredia and her proud pop, Warren "Mighty Jo" Tepper.
