Spot on! Emma Stone is reportedly in talks to play Cruella de Vil in Disney’s upcoming origins flick revolving around the 101 Dalmatians villain. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-nominated star is in early negotiations.
Kelly Marcel, whose credits include Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks and Fifty Shades of Grey, is penning the script for the project, which is set to reimagine the 1961 animated classic.
Glenn Close last portrayed the Dalmatian-stealing madwoman, who was originally voiced by Betty Lou Gerson.
Stone, 27, last appeared opposite Bradley Cooper in Aloha.
