"I was 12, but I really wanted the role," the 25-year-old actress revealed, adding that there are no lingering hard feelings. "Not at all. Lindsay beat me out of the role. I'm having the time of my life and currently working on Shameless."

Before Lohan, 25, starred in her most notable breakout role, 2004's Mean Girls, she played the dual role in The Parent Trap, where she played both twins opposite Dennis Quaid and the late Natasha Richardson, who passed away in 2009 from a skiing accident.

Well, I'm glad she didn't get it. Because Lindsay was great in that movie! To this day it's one of my favorite movies ever. Lindsay had so much potential. It's sad she ruined it with drugs.
