The ladies of 16 and Pregnant are growing up, but the drama continues! Katie Yeager, Briana DeJesus and Alex Sekella gave Us Weekly a taste recently on what to expect when their journeys continue on Teen Mom 3.
“[Being] a 16-year-old in a very adult situation makes you grow up and there’s no such thing as your 20s when you’re a teen mom,” Yeager explained of having a lifestyle different from others her age. “[There’s] a lot of emotional growth, a lot of maturing, which happens when you go from being a teenager to a 20-year-old.”
But becoming more responsible doesn’t fix everything — especially when it comes to their relationships with their kids’ fathers. “When is there not drama with these baby daddies that we have?” DeJesus exclaimed. “I still don’t know how to co-parent. Sometimes when Devoin [Austin] comes over I’m disgusted like, ‘What are you doing in my house? Get out.'”
Sekella couldn’t agree more. “I haven’t spoken to Matt [McCann] in over a year. He was stupid and lied to my face about multiple things that he was doing,” she says of the ex she previously claimed dealt drugs. “Dealing with an addict is so hard. I was so confused on what to do because I wanted to be there for him and his family when it all happened. But at the same time, I don’t want Arabella anywhere near that. So you sort of get stuck in the middle.”
