With Amber Portwood behind bars serving a five-year prison sentence after rejecting court-ordered rehab, her Teen Mom costar Farrah Abraham had her back Tuesday after an ugly confrontation between Portwood and her ex, Gary Shirley, aired on the Teen Mom series finale.
"What a pig! You're horrible; go get mental help for Amber's sake P.O.S.," Abraham — mom to 3-year-old Sophia — tweeted to Shirley after a scene aired that featured him calling Portwood a "slut" during an altercation the couple had when discussing custody plans for Leah, 3.
Later, Abraham questioned Shirley's ability to parent his daughter in the wake of Portwood's decision to sign over sole physical and legal custody. "To be honest, Gary is so negative and I don't see how he is better to raise Leah then Amber. Get the point Gary! Learn to focus on Leah."
Though he has since deleted his tweets in response to Abraham, Shirley was not afraid to hold his tongue during the finale. "@F1abraham go make another hit single or treat your parents like sh–. Always stuck up for you — not anymore," he shot back at Abraham, who famously clashed with her mom, Debra Danielson, and recently released a song called "On My Own."
After the pair's ugly Twitter war, Shirley apologized to Abraham and offered her a word of advice. "Sorry Farrah. But you need to be nice to people. Sorry for my tweets not who I am. @F1abraham"
