Find Out What Made Us' List of Movies of the Decade!

Entertainment Dec. 22, 2009 AT 10:43AM

As 2009 draws to a close, Senior Editor Bradley Jacobs is recapping his favorite film moments of the last decade.

Looking back on adventure films, musicals, comedies and dramas, Jacobs sings the praises of Heath Ledger's Dark Knight, but admits the initial allure of 2006's Dreamgirls doesn't hold up in repeat viewings. (Watch the video recap above).

One of our critic's favorite actresses? Meryl Streep, who appeared in both The Devil Wears Prada and The Hours.

"Meryl should have gotten that third Oscar [for Best Actress in 2007]. She was robbed!" Jacobs says of Streep's performance as Miranda Priestly in Prada.

For more of the decade's best flicks, as chosen by Jacobs -- including his pick for the "finest screenplay of the decade" -- check out the video above.
