Fran Healy Performs New Song For His Son!

If you're anything like me (and I assume some of you are), bet you were waiting to hear what Travis lead singer Fran Healy's new solo album, Wreckorder (out now), sounded like since he first announced it. And if you're also like me, then you're already in LOVE with it's atmospheric guitar pop, like the Neko Case duet "Sing Me To Sleep" and the glimmering "Moonshine."

But here's something you haven't heard yet: a live acoustic version of "Fly In The Ointment," which the Brit popper belted out just for Usmagazine.com recently!

So what inspired this one? "I wrote "Fly In The Ointment" with my son in mind. I wanted to write something which contained reference points for him: meeting a snail, flying beside a jumbo jet. It's got a Lewis Carroll vibe. He loved it," he explains to Us.

Well…what are you waiting for? Watch the clip above and then waltz on over to find out where you can see Healy on tour with Brandon Flowers next month at www.franhealy.com.
