Here's hoping Justin Timberlake has enjoyed his time in the spotlight.
It seems Matthew Morrison, the star of the hit Fox musical series Glee, is ready to take his place!
"Right now, I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album," the former Broadway star, 31, told Access Hollywood. "I would consider it a classier Justin Timberlake album."
Morrison, who plays Glee club mentor Will Schuester on the show, said that his sound is "going to be different" than expected, adding that it will "be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats." (He likened it to "Timberlake meets Michael Buble.")
The actor will likely incorporate his years of experience on the Broadway stage into the album as well. He has appeared in Footloose, The Rocky Horror Show, Hairspray, South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza, which earned the actor a Tony nomination in 2005 for his role as Fabrizio Nacarelli.

"I want to be like the next Gene Kelly," he said of his cross-over into film and music. "I want to kind of do it all. I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway but have them all be separate, their own entities."
Morrison isn't the only Glee star planning a solo album. Lea Michele is also considering one, show creator Ryan Murphy has said.
