Talk about a night to remember! The 2015 Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11, were jam-packed with funny one-liners, tearful speeches, glamorous gowns, and star power to spare. Hosted by BFFs Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the event honored Hollywood’s best and brightest in TV and film.
Us Weekly rounded up some of the buzziest, most memorable moments of the night, whether it was a shocking incident you didn’t see on television, a viral meme-waiting-to-happen that had everyone laughing on Twitter, or a gasp-worthy quip from one of the presenters.
Third time’s just as charming as ever! Fey and Poehler let no controversy go untouched in their opening remarks, telling jokes about everything from the Sony hack to Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault scandal. They also took aim, once again, at George Clooney, who was the victim of a particularly memorable burn last year. Check out their best quips!
The newlyweds brought old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet, with Clooney in a tux and Alamuddin rocking a regal black Dior gown with white satin opera gloves. Inside, the actor accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and gushed about how proud he is to be married to his bride.

3. Taylor Schilling Yawns, Is Unimpressed by the Clooneys
Just another day on the red carpet! Taylor Schilling looked less-than-thrilled to be waiting behind George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin as they were interviewed by Giuliana Rancic outside the Beverly Hilton. The Orange Is the New Black actress was caught on camera yawning as she stood in the background of their shot.
Ouch! American Horror Story: Freak Show star Bates could be heard “scream[ing] out in pain” after injuring her foot at the Globes. An onlooker tells Us she had to “steady herself on a chair” before limping back to her seat.
Bold effin’ move! Spacey made sure people were paying attention when he casually cursed during his acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Drama Series, which he won for the Netflix show House of Cards.
6. Jeremy Renner Jokes About Jennifer Lopez’s “Golden Globes”
Awkward! Renner got a little distracted by co-presenter J.Lo‘s assets while presenting the award for Best Miniseries/Drama. Before announcing the winner, he made a crack about her cleavage, which was on display in a glam Zuhair Murad gown.
