Grammys 2016: The 6 Craziest Moments Including Taylor Swift’s Shade, Adele’s Sound Problems and More

Oh, what a night! The 58th Annual Grammy Awards brought stellar performances, red carpet glam and predictably unpredictable moments — on stage and off. From Taylor Swift‘s dig at Kanye West, to Adele‘s (what just happened!?) disastrous performance, Us Weekly has rounded up the six craziest moments from the star-studded show.

1. Taylor Swift Takes a Jab at Kanye West
The bad blood continues! Swift got the last word — for now — while accepting the award for Album of the Year at L.A.’s Staples Center on Monday, February 15. Without naming names, the “Out of the Woods” singer responded to the rapper’s controversial lyrics in his new song “Famous,” which say he made her famous.

“I want to say to all the young women out there — there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” Swift said on stage. “But if you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be greatest feeling in the world.”

2. Adele’s Performance Has Major Glitch
Hello, what’s going on? The British singer’s set was unfortunately marred by technical difficulties as she performed “All I Ask” for the live audience. “The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S–t happens. X” Adele later explained via Twitter. “Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.”

3. Lady Gaga Crushes David Bowie Tribute
First the Super Bowl 50 — now this! The Golden Globe winner absolutely dominated the stage while paying tribute to the late icon. She dressed up like the eccentric singer and rocked out to some of his greatest tunes, including “Heroes,” “Let’s Dance,” “Changes” and “Rebel Rebel.”

4. Kendrick Lamar Brings Down the House With Epic Set
Can’t look away. The rapper — who scored five of his 11 Grammy nominations on Monday night — gave a powerful performance with a map of Africa and the word “Compton” as his backdrop. He sang “The Blacker the Berry” and “Alright” off his acclaimed, politically charged album To Pimp a Butterfly.

5. Lionel Richie Gets a Killer Tribute
Loving Lionel! The singer-songwriter was honored during the Grammys and took the stage to sing his 1983 hit “All Night Long.” He was joined by Demi Lovato, John Legend, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor and Tyrese. Some of the other songs the group sang included his own “Hello” (Demi slayed!), “Brick House” and “You Are.”

6. Tori Kelly Wasn’t Impressed With Swift

Party pooper? The “Nobody Love” singer gave, well, no love to Swift when the 1989 songstress won Album of the Year. Kelly — who lost to Trainor for Best New Artist — appeared to pout as she sat in the audience during Swift’s acceptance speech.
