"My name is Heidi Montag and you know me as a pop culture phenomenon," proclaims the 24-year-old Hills alum in a preview clip for Famous Food, premiering July 10 on VH1.

Competing against The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Danielle Staub to open a restaurant in Hollywood, Montag believes she may be the show's dark horse.

"People think I'm this train wreck that hasn't wrecked yet," she says. "Little do they know, I have a brain."

And as Montag points out, she has plenty experience in the food business. "My parents owned their own restaurant and I've worked in one since I was 13," she says. "I will be the hottest restaurant owner to ever exist on the Sunset Strip."

Famous Food premieres July 10 at 10 p.m. (EST) on VH1.

Way to go VH1, pick three of the most hated and annoying reality "stars" for your new show. Who on earth would actually watch this competition?

Pop culture phenomenon? Really? I know her as a lot of things... but that DEFINITELY isn't one of them... at least her music videos gave me something to laugh at...

Heidi looks like she can hardly move because of all her plastic surgery. That is such a shame.

Let's just have a show that calls it like it is, like "I am a Publicity Who*e, Make me Famous!" or "I am not talented enough for the movies but can't go back to my real job". These are of course just working titles.

Not sure who is more pathetic. The people that are on these type of shows, the people who create them or the people who watch them.
