Heidi Pratt Getting "Restraining Order" Against "Psychotic" Mom

Heidi Pratt is seeking a restraining order against her mom, Darlene, after she made a surprise visit to her L.A.-area home.
"My mom [Darlene Egelhoff] just showed up to the house unannounced... and after what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her," Heidi, 23, tells TMZ.com, referring to her mom's disapproval of her 10 plastic surgeries in one day.
Heidi tells TMZ.com that she immediately notified her personal security team (the new issue of Us Weekly reports they employ 4 former Marines for protection) when Egelhoff began "pounding on the door."

Spencer tells UsMagazine.com, "She’s gone. The cops took her away."
"Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic," Heidi says. "I'm getting a restraining order against her."
In the new issue of Us Weekly, Heidi's mom admits, "Heidi and I aren't speaking to each other right now."

On Monday's episode of The Hills, Spencer slammed Egelhoff as "just a vagina."
Though his relationship with Egelhoff soured in 2008 when he and Heidi secretly eloped to Mexico, she was supportive when the couple officially tied the knot last year.
"I'm just so happy they found each other," she told Us then. "I feel like I've passed on the job of taking care of Heidi to him, and it's a big job! He's the only other person alive who could do it."

207heidi didnt need ANY surgery.... i feel bad for her bc (she says) she was teased in high school 4 not being pretty or something about being 'flat chested'-- look, if it makes you feel better aboiut yrself, go for it (!) but / personally feel shes even more insecure now... you cant make insecurities go away by changing yr face and chest.. you prolly need to get sme PROFESSIONAL ( like, therapy, maybe?!) help! but i do feel bad, spencer is such a tool
My Mom's side of the family is very close and important to me, and if someone said anything like that, there would be no hesitation to just get up and kick them out right there. Even with the family that I refuse to talk to on the other side, I would still tell them to back off, at one point, they and I were close. Heidi needs to see that if LA is one of the reasons she changed, then she needs help. Her Mom is mad, most parents, especially moms, wouldn't want to see their kids change their face, unless it was life threatening. I think this is all publicity, and when they find out that it will never be the same, they will see how tortureous life will be alone.

I'm sure the only one that's psychotic is Heidi herself! Her mom just loves her. Perfect example of how fame and fortune can tear a family apart.
Seriously???? How in the world is it out of line or pyschotic for your Mom to show up unannounced??? It's your MOM for crying out loud!! You know, the woman who gave birth to you & cared for you all those years. I'm thrilled when my Mom shows up & surprises me. I'm also extremely thankful that I have a Mom who cares enough to show up!!! Some people really need to wake up & get their priorities straight.
I was married to a man who disrespected my family, to the point where he would not allow me to go see my mother when she was dying. Yes, we are divorced, & I am very hesitant to get involved with anyone else. I can understand to a point what Heidi is going through, & she really needs to wake up & see how the poisonous mind of her husband is going to destroy her.
I would never let any man talk about my family like that or even try to rip me apart from friends or family, I also noticed spencer never speaks to his parents they prob. dont want anything to do with that Psycho so they ignore him, heidi deserves so much better, I feel bad for her mom she was only trying to reach out to heidi and spencer prob. told heidi to get the restraining order, she should divorce him and find someone better wonder what happen to his other girlfriends prob. killed them because he has so much rage like he does with heidi's family.
If anyone ever said my mother was "just vagina" I'd kick them in their "just nuts". There is a whole side of parenting Spencer forgot about...you know, all that stuff you do once the child is out...like raise them and love them. He's a fing moron.
I don't usually watch these shows, but some of the episodes I've seen are just strange. As a daughter how can you let anyone let alone any man talk about not on only your mother but also your family?? No matter what your mother is the one that brought you into this world. And only to see her daughter act so selfishly and not even care about anyone but herself and her image. In this life if you don't have family u have nothing. Money cannot not buy what god already gave you. It may ease what ever void you are feeling at the time but it won't last. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. And in the end you will be the only one to face the repercussion of your actions and no crystal can help that.
My goodness her mother has aged so much since all this.. I feel so bad for her.. Spencer is really taking over her life
I feel so bad for Heidi's mom, she has been watching her daughter slowly disappear from her for years now. Lauren predicted right, Spencer is Pyschotic and he has ripped Heidi away from her friends and family, its so said. I hope for Heidi's sake she sees what he is doing and gets out. Don't put the restraining order on your mom, Spencer is the one that needs one.
I feel so incredibly bad for the families of these two idiots. I think it's time the magazines and entertainment channels stop putting them in the spotlight so we never have to hear about them again.

This smells like a Spencer scheme created purely for publicity and Heidi is so brainwashed and desensitized by the post-surgery drugs that she's willing to put her family through the torture. Pathetic. I feel pathetic for even submitting this post giving attention to this idiocy.

It appears that this couple cut their friends and now family out of their lives. It's sad that Heidi has been so brainwashed that she believes the only person who loves her is Spencer. I hope Heidi gets help soon and that she doesn't end up another casualty of celebrity.
