Hilary Duff to Write Young Adult Novel

Hilary Duff is booked up!
The former Disney star, 22, has signed on to write a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.

The first novel, titled Elixir, will feature the adventures of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond. It's due to hit bookshelves on Oct. 12.
This series isn't the only one she'll be working on. The star also plans to write a nonfiction book about children coping with divorce, scheduled for 2012. (Duff, whose own parents have split, has written about the topic in such songs as "Gypsy Woman" and "Stranger.")

Duff's new gig comes just weeks after UsMagazine.com confirmed that she got engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie, 29, who gave her a 14-carat, $1 million sparkler to seal the deal.

7i think she's really brave, it's hard to go through your parents spliting. Im really glad that she is doing really well and getting married ;) im excited to see her books when they come out. and Nancy Stephens your pretty awful for saying that and not evening knowing her on a personal level. Yeah i think she pretty too but she's a hell lot smartier then most people who let fame get to their heads. Like miley cyrus. She's not a very good role model, but Hilary Duff definatly is. ;D
Pretty girl...but I don't know... she's pretty in a fake,plastic sort of way to me... wonder if her book's 1st chapter will be "How To Charm Your Man Using Nothing but Your Plastic Body"...I bet she doesn't even realize there is more to sexiness than just on the surface... there is ALSO sexines bteween your ears and in your heart-IF you bother to use it!!...but Mike DIDN'T propose b/c of smarts character or EVEN real talent, this girl has NONE of thse things!He ONLY proposed for SUPERFICIAL reasons-b/c she is younger than he is,fake pretty and good between the sheets...men ONLY propose for those reasons...
