As fall approaches, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her family — including mom June Shannon and sisters Lauryn, 12 (“Pumpkin”) and Jessica, 15 (“Chubbs”) — indulged in a bit of last-minute summer fun at the water park on Wednesday’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Rewarding her girls for completing their family weight loss challenge, Mama June suited up with her brood to take a trip down the Georgia park’s water slide. “I don’t straddle things very well,” Mama, clad in a purple suit with a black skirt, said as she stepped into a yellow inner tube with the aid of two hunky lifeguards. “Wasn’t a perfect fit that day.”
Yelping with delight as she traveled down the water slide, June wasn’t expecting the reception she got from her daughters when she reached the bottom. “Tidal wave!” they all yelled as their overweight mom splashed down in the pool.
Later, Mama shocked her girls by removing her ever-present socks to reveal her infamous “forklift foot,” which Shannon says she sustained when her toes were crushed during a factory machinery accident. “That’s disgusting!” Honey Boo Boo cracked as her sisters looked on in horror. (Shannon’s pregnant daughter Anna, 17, a.k.a. Chickadee, was home on bed rest and could not make the trip.)
Wednesday’s episode wasn’t all play for the family, however. The family trekked to the Rock Star Diva pageant, at which Honey Boo Boo was crowned Queen.
